CMCA YOUNG STARS SET THE ATMOSPHERE FOR THE HOLLYWOOD BETS FIN CUP T20 SHOWDOWN

Sunday, August 17 was a very special day at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Cricket Stadium. The Clinton Moodley Cricket Academy was invited to bring three of its mini cricket teams to play. This was a Mini Cricket Showdown before the big game between the Sharks and the Dolphins.

The young cricket players came from their center in Scottburgh and from Amandawe Primary School. They were so happy to be there! For some, it was their very first time at the big Kingsmead stadium, and they were very excited.

From 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., the kids got to play right on the main field. They played with a lot of energy and smiles, which made everyone feel excited for the big game later.

Parents, coaches, and everyone watching were very impressed with how well the kids played. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the kids were thrilled to meet some of their favorite sports stars. They got to say hello to the professional cricket players from the Hollywoodbets Dolphins and the rugby players from the Hollywoodbets Sharks. It was a day they will never forget!

The Clinton Moodley Cricket Academy (CMCA) proudly launched its KFC Mini Cricket Programme at Amandawe Primary School on Thursday, 27 February 2025.
 
INTRODUCING CRICKET TO YOUNG MINDS:
 
It was thrilling to see the enthusiasm and interest among the youngsters as they learned the basics of cricket. Coaches Clinton Moodley, Robert Miller, and Veronique Du Plooy attended the launch, guiding the eager students through their first cricket experience.
 
COACH CLINTON MOODLEY SHARES HIS VISION:
 
“I’m excited to bring Mini Cricket to rural areas,” said Coach Clinton Moodley. “On Thursday, the kids from Amandawe Primary School discovered the beautiful game of cricket for the first time. We hope they’ll cherish this new experience and develop a lifelong passion for the sport.”
