2023/2024 Cricket Season
Both The U11’s and U15’s won all their matches for the season, some of the highlights being:

Chatsworth United U11 Vs. FAM U11
Chatworth United Won by 10 Wickets
FAM U11 was Bowled out for 16 runs with an outstanding bowling performance from our bowlers;
Anton Bezuidenhout: 2 overs, 8 runs, 4 wickets
Neil Bezuidenhout: 2 overs, 3 runs, 2 wickets
Caleb Turner: 0,3 overs, 0 runs, 1 wicket
After Chatsworth United Finished their Bowling inings, they went on to Bat.
Opening Batsmen; Rorke Harris (7 runs from 7 balls, not out) and Blake Vincent (5 runs off 6 balls, not out) finished off the game with a 17 run partnership.
Chatsworth United U11 Vs. Chesterville U11
Chatsworth United U11 won by 33 runs.
Chesterville U11 won the toss and selected to bowl.
Chatsworth United put up a total of 150/6 in 20 overs.
An outstanding batting performance from Blake Vincent who made 40 runs off just 31 balls.
Chatsworth United U11 went on to bowl in the 2nd innings of the game and they bowled out Chesterville for 117 runs in 18.2 overs.
An excellent performance from our bowlers;
Yajna Singh: 3 overs, 19 runs, 2 wickets.
Blake Vincent: 3 overs, 6 runs, 1 wicket
Sethu Mthembu: 2 overs, 7 runs, 1 wicket
Rorke Harris: 3 overs, 17 runs, 1 wicket
Some good fielding and team work resulted in the Chatsworth United u11 team getting 3 run outs against Chesterville U11.
In our U11 Team, We have 3 girls playing; Valerie Du Plooy, Jennifer Jayne Miller and Yajna Singh.
The girls have produced very pleasing results that they have been included in the U13 girls KZN Dolphins trials, we are still awaiting feedback from KZN Cricket Union as to see if the girls have made it to the next round of trials.

With High Scorer Shivaar Sivpersad scoring 46 runs off 23 balls, we also had Shivesh Moodley who hit the winning runs at the end to take Chatsworth United U15 to Victory in their first game for the season.

Chatsworth United U15 won by 100 runs
Chatsworth United Selected to bat first scoring 155/7 after 20 overs.
An outstanding batting performance from Shaylin Reddy who scored 40 runs off 51 balls in his first game for Chatsworth United and a blazing 13 runs off 4 balls from Shivaar Sivpersad.
Chatsworth United U15 went on to Bowl in the second innings and bowled Newlands out for 55 runs in 14 overs.
An amazing bowling performance from Shivesh Moodley who bowled 4 overs, 1 maiden, 15 runs and took 5 wickets.
Shivaar Sivpersad bowled 1.1 overs, 1 run and took 1 wicket.
Deshan Pillay bowled 1 over, for 11 runs and took 1 wicket.
Chatsworth United U15 Vs. Chesterville U15
Chatsworth United U15 won by 120 runs.
Chatsworth United went in to bat first scoring 173/5 after 20 overs.
An outstanding batting performance all round included Shivaar Sivpersad scoring 28 runs off 17 balls and Shivesh Moodley scoring 26 off 20 balls (not out).
Chatsworth United U15 went on to bowl in the second innings and bowled Chesterville U15 for 53 runs in 10.4 overs.
An excellent bowling performance from Shivaar Sivpersad: 3 overs, 10 runs, 2 wickets; Kiyaren Harakraj: 2 overs, 17 runs, 2 wickets and Shivesh Moodley: 3 overs, 1 maiden, 9 runs, 1 wicket.
